COVID-19 Update

In accordance with Gov. DeWine’s mandate to temporarily suspend gatherings of more than 100 people we have postponed our Lake Effect Concert Band’s concert scheduled for March 20 in Painesville. We do plan to reschedule it when the mandate is lifted.

Erring on the side of caution, we have also decided to postpone the Low Brass Wokshop scheduled for this Sunday at the Kirtland Community Center. This will also be rescheduled at a later date.

Registration for the Blizzard Youth Winds summer session that was scheduled to open April 1 may be delayed until we have a better idea what the situation is with gatherings and venues going forward.

We’ll keep you updated as information becomes available. Stay healthy everyone!

The Instrumental Workshop Series is for musicians of all ages who want to improve their musical skills. Each two-hour masterclass is led by an accomplished professional musician and will focus on all aspects of playing, including warm-up exercises, tone/technique development, articulation, intonation, phrasing, and breath control. Some participants may be selected to play for the group and receive one-on-one feedback from the instructor.

FREE to attend! Bring your instrument and music stand. Sign up today!
