We hope everyone is continuing to remain healthy and safe. We have been closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19 and the recommendations from the Ohio Department of Health and Governor DeWine. We really miss making music and sharing it with the community, but have come to the tough decision to cancel all of our scheduled rehearsals and performances through at least the end of July. Hopefully, our three large ensembles, the Lake Effect Concert Band, Polar Vortex, and Blizzard Youth Winds, will be able to resume later in the year.

We hope to be able to offer at least one of our instrumental workshops via Zoom this summer. We’ll let you know when we have more details.

Be sure to watch our living room concert videos, put together by members of our Lake Effect Concert Band. We’ll post more to our Facebook page soon. Hopefully we can get our Blizzard Youth Winds to do one too.

We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available. Stay healthy everyone!

The Instrumental Workshop Series is for musicians of all ages who want to improve their musical skills. Each two-hour masterclass is led by an accomplished professional musician and will focus on all aspects of playing, including warm-up exercises, tone/technique development, articulation, intonation, phrasing, and breath control. Some participants may be selected to play for the group and receive one-on-one feedback from the instructor.

FREE to attend! Bring your instrument and music stand. Sign up today!
